Want to get involved with making the blogging software you love even better?
As a member of the Beta Team you’ll get a first look at what’s new in TypePad. Have your say - tell us what you think about features, and what you want to see. Our team is working hard on making improvements every day, and feedback from Beta Team members helps us make improvements and fixes before we release changes to everyone.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I learn about the features in Beta?
To see what features are currently in beta, check out the posts tagged “in beta" on the Beta blog. Whenever a new feature is added to the Beta, we’ll post about it on the blog, so be sure to subscribe to the blog’s feed to get the latest updates.
What will I see in the Beta?
As a Beta Team member, you’ll see new features in a pre-release form. This also means you may see bugs or something wonky and we’ll rely on you to let us know when you do. If you’re running your business on your TypePad blog or you’d rather wait to see features when they’re fully tested, we don’t recommend you join the Beta Team at this time (especially since once you join the Beta Team your account must remain there.) But if you’re feeling adventurous and want to be on the frontier of our changing technology, the Beta Team is perfect for you.
How can I share my feedback with you?
There's a post in the Beta blog about each feature, so leave a comment and let us know what you think. It's a creative, quick way to let us and the rest of the community know what's important to you.
Will I still receive technical support?
Of course! If you run into a problem, just file a help ticket and we’ll help you out.
Can I leave the Beta Team at any time?
What happens in Beta stays in Beta - this first peek at the new features means you'll be shifted to the new platform for good. In other words, once you join the Beta Team your account must remain there.

Please note that acceptance into the Beta program is limited so that we can ensure we’re able to gather feedback from, and provide support to, everyone in the program. We’re constantly adding more members to the Beta Team so if you’re not accepted right away, we’ll keep you on our list and move you there once there's room.
